What is a looking glass?
A looking glass is a web tool that runs ping, traceroute, MTR, WHOIS and BGP from an operator’s server. You see the internet from the KuzeyDC vantage point, not from your laptop.
How do I look up IP WHOIS?
Choose WHOIS, enter an IP or domain and run the query. Registry data from RIPE, ARIN and other RIRs returns owner, ASN and netname — the usual answer to “who owns this IP”.
What is BGP lookup for?
A BGP looking glass shows how a prefix is announced: AS path, alternate routes and countries traversed. RIPE RIS observations help investigate leaks or wrong origin ASNs.
Ping vs traceroute vs MTR?
Ping summarises latency and loss. Traceroute lists each hop. MTR repeats pings per hop for loss and RTT stats. The network path view explains hops as cards.
